Located in a rural setting but only 10 minutes from Junction 47 of the M4, Brynawel Farm is the perfect location to visit the many attractions in South Wales.


Swansea Marina lies in the very heart of the city's redeveloped and award winning Maritime Quarter and is surrounded by restaurants, shops and marine businesses. Swansea Marina is situated in the award winning Maritime Quarter area of Swansea City.  Bordered on one side by the sandy beach of Swansea Bay.  The vibrant city centre, with all of the amenities you could ever need, is only a short walk away.


The LC2 in Swansea is a top family attraction, offering a world class Waterpark, Health Spa, Gym and Sport facilities.
Wales' biggest indoor water park with a network of pools, rides and slides, including the standing Boatrider. Also, 30ft indoor climbing wall and state of the art gym.


From insects, reptiles,fish and monkeys to bananas, pineapple plants, prickly cacti and giant bamboo - Plantasia has it all, and is perfect for that unique family day out, no matter what the weather!

National Botanical Gardens of Wales

The National Botanic Garden of Wales opened in May 2000 – making it the first national botanic garden to be created in the new millennium. Includes the biggest single span greenhouse in the world and one of the longest continual flower beds in Europe. Over 1,000 different species have been recorded living wild here. A perfect family day out.

Aberdulais Falls

Set in a steep gorge, this property demonstrates the power of water and its impact on industry. Famous water fall and fascinating industrial site with tin workers' exhibition.
Today the waters of the River Dulais are used to make Aberdulais Falls self-sufficient in environmentally friendly energy. It has the largest electricty-generating waterwheel in Europe.
Lifts enable you to access the cinema and the upper levels for excellent views of the falls.

The Gower Coast
An area of outstanding natural beauty, with award winning beaches and hundreds of miles of coastal walks.

The Gower Heritage Centre
Set in the heart of the Gower Peninsula just west of Swansea, South Wales, the Gower Heritage Centre was established in 1990 as a countryside crafts centre situated in historical and beautiful surroundings.

Brynawel Farm is ideally located with over 12 top flight Golf courses within easy driving distance. Examples are Machynys, Pennard, Langland, Clyne and Pontardawe. Both Martin and Christine are avid golfers and would be happy to recommend a course for your stay. Transport can be arranged if required.

With Swansea now in the Premiership and the Ospreys and the Scarlets competing in the Heineken Cup, Brynawel Farm is ideally located if you are visiting Wales to attend a major sporting occasion.
